Campsite Booking Process

How do I book a pitch?
All bookings must be made in advance—walk-ons are not accepted. You can book through our website, and full payment is required upfront.
Are group bookings allowed?
We are a family-friendly, low-key campsite focused on peace, space, and respect for the surroundings. Group bookings may be considered, but only by prior arrangement and entirely at our discretion, depending on group size and the nature of your visit. Please email emma@stonethwaitefarmandcampsite.co.uk with details.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Bookings are non-refundable. We take a deposit at the time of booking, and the final balance is due 4 weeks before your stay.

Are there toilets and showers on site?
We have a toilet and sink block, but there are no showers currently.
Is drinking water available?
Yes, drinking water taps are available around the campsite.
Can I collect fresh eggs from the farm?
Not yet, but we are considering offering free-range egg collection in the future.
Campsite Capacity & Rules

Do I need to bring my booking confirmation?
Yes, you must bring a copy of your booking so we can check this off when we come round.
How many pitches are available?
We have 60 pitches available for tents, small camper vans, and cars with tent boxes.
Do you allocate specific pitches?
There are no pitch allocations this year; it is just pitch where you want, but please ensure you leave enough room for others.
What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in: After 3 PM
- Check-out: By 11 AM
Do I need to display anything on my tent?
Yes, you must display your camping ticket at all times.
Is there a limit to the number of cars per pitch?
Yes, each pitch allows for one car only. One car is permitted with your booking; any extra car is £10.
Is there a traffic system for the campsite?
Yes, we operate a one-way system for entering and exiting the campsite.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we are dog-friendly, but dogs must be kept on a lead. There will be a designated dog run for campers to use.
Are BBQs and firepits allowed?

BBQs: Yes, permitted.

Firepits: Personal firepits and outside wood are not allowed. However, we have 20 complete campfire bundles available to rent! Each bundle includes a firepit, heat mat, gauze top, logs, kindling, and firelighters.
Please note: Only our rented bundles are permitted, and fires are strictly prohibited in the woodland area.
